Shipping Policy


*Most orders for in-stock items placed before 10am EST will ship the **same business day.  All orders for in-stock items are guaranteed to ship within **one business day.  Orders requiring custom cuts or manufacturing are marked on each individual product page.  Tracking information is provided with your shipping confirmation e-mail.

*Excluding commercial/wholesale orders
**NOT guaranteed on Mondays, days following holidays, or during short-staffed periods.
**Orders shipping via UPS will be delayed by at least 1 business day.

Drop Ships, Special Orders, & Pre-Orders

If your purchase contains a drop shipped product, your entire order will be held until we receive confirmation of the drop ship.  If your purchase contains a special order or pre-ordered item, your entire order will be held until it can ship complete.

For security reasons, drop shipped deliveries require a signature upon receipt, no exceptions (even if requested).  Large speaker orders are shipped via Purolator regardless of which option is selected at checkout.

Local Pickup (Nepean, ON)
Please Note: We do not have a showroom and our warehouse is not open to the public.

You must place your order in advance either through our online checkout system or over the phone. Local pickups for existing orders are available during our regular business hours. Turnover time is the same as listed above for orders to be shipped. Orders containing drops ships, special orders, and pre-orders will not be available for pickup until all products are available.

You will be notified when your order is "Ready For Pickup." Please bring a copy of your receipt or proof of ID (matching that on your order) when you pick up your order. You will be required to sign for your package.

If you do not have an Ottawa address, the option will not show up. In that case, just use our address as the shipping address on your order and you will be able to select the pickup option at checkout. However, you still need to enter your correct billing address, or your credit card will be rejected.

Shipping - In Canada

  • FREE provincial ground shipping via Canada Post Expedited Parcel for orders over $149 (some restrictions apply)
    • For security reasons, drop shipped deliveries require a signature upon receipt, no exceptions (even if requested).  Large speaker orders of drop shipped speakers are shipped via Purolator regardless of which option is selected at checkout.
    • We do not ship free via any other shipping method.
  • For orders under $149, you can choose from the following shipping options (see average transit times below):
    • Canada Post (Expedited Parcel) - The most economical parcel shipping option available to us.  Includes tracking and insurance.
    • Canada Post (Xpresspost) - Express service to anywhere in Canada.  Includes tracking and insurance.
    • UPS Standard (Ground) - UPS is slower and much more expensive than Canada Post.  Orders shipping via UPS are delayed by 1 business day.  However, they are a necessary alternative when Canada Post is on strike or when their servers are down.
      • Please note Celestion & Eminence speakers CANNOT ship via UPS.  If you choose UPS at checkout when ordering them, they will ship via Purolator.
  • All orders are shipped as parcels.  We cannot place products in envelopes and ship them as regular mail.  Shipping fees are calculated by the carrier and are are based on destination, package size, and weight.  If you find the shipping costs excessive, there is nothing we can do about it.  We have no control over what they charge.  In fact, in many cases our system undercharges for the shipping costs, so you are most likely already receiving a shipping discount.  As is the case when ordering online from anywhere, we suggest planning your orders accordingly to get the best value out of the shipping cost.
  • You will be "carded" if no one is home to receive the delivery.  We do not allow deliveries to be dropped off when no one is home, even if requested.  This is to ensure shipping insurance remains valid and guarantees secure delivery.
  • Average transit times for Expedited Parcel (cut these in half if shipping via Xpresspost):
    • British Columbia (4-6 business days)
    • Alberta (3-6 business days)
    • Saskatchewan (3-5 business days)
    • Manitoba (2-5 business days)
    • Ontario & Quebec (1-4 business days)
    • New Brunswick (2-5 business days)
    • Nova Scotia & PEI (3-5 business days)
    • Newfoundland (4-6 business days)
    • Territories (4-10 business days)

Shipping - International

We are happy to ship orders to customers outside of Canada, but our current platform is incapable of properly calculating international shipping fees.  You'll need to contact us to process your order manually.
