Shipping Policy

"Normal" Turnover Times

Most orders ship within one business day.  Orders placed on weekends might not ship until Tuesday (or Wednesday if Monday was a holiday).  Speakers and orders with speakers ship in 3-5 business days.  Extended delays will be highlighted during peak periods (around holidays and promotional events like Black Friday, Boxing Week, etc.) or periods of an unpredictable nature (natural disasters and/or short-staffed periods which can happen unexpectedly due to staff illness).

Products requiring extra processing time have turnover times listed on each individual product page.  Orders containing those products will be processed/shipped when those products are ready.  Tracking information is always provided with your shipping confirmation e-mail, unless you choose a shipping option with no tracking provided.

*PLEASE NOTE: Choosing an Express delivery option does NOT speed up our processing time.  It only changes the shipping method.  Our processing/turnover time remains the same, regardless which shipping option you choose.

Drop Ships, Special Orders, & Pre-Orders

If your purchase contains a drop shipped product, your entire order will be held until we receive confirmation of the drop ship.  If your purchase contains a special order or pre-ordered item, your entire order will be held until it can ship complete.

For security reasons, drop shipped deliveries require a signature upon receipt, no exceptions (even if requested).  Large speaker orders are shipped via Purolator regardless of which option is selected at checkout.

Local Orders (Nepean, ON)

Our warehouse is open for curbside pickup only.  No in-person customer service is available.  Contact us if you need anything more than just an order pickup.

You can place your order in advance online or over the phone and have it ready for pickup within the turnover times listed above.  Sorry, we do not allow people to skip ahead in the processing line just because they are local. All orders are processed in the order that they are received.

Orders containing drops ships, special orders, and pre-orders will not be available for pickup until all products are available.

You will be notified when your order is "Ready For Pickup." Please bring a copy of your receipt or proof of ID (matching that on your order) when you pick up your order. You will be required to sign for your package.

If you do not have an Ottawa address, the pickup option will not show up at checkout. In that case, just use our address as the shipping address on your order and you will be able to select the pickup option at checkout.  However, you still need to enter your correct billing address or your credit card will be rejected.

Shipping - In Canada

  • All orders are shipped as parcels.  We cannot place products in envelopes and ship them as regular mail.  Shipping fees are calculated by the carrier and are are based on destination, package size, and weight.  We always recommend planning your orders accordingly to get the best value out of the shipping cost.
  • FREE shipping for orders over $149 (*some restrictions apply)
    • Does not apply to wholesale/dealer accounts.
    • For security reasons, drop shipped deliveries require a signature upon receipt, no exceptions (even if requested).  Large speaker orders of drop shipped speakers are shipped via Purolator regardless of which option is selected at checkout.
    • Other shipping methods reduced/discounted, should you choose to upgrade to express shipping.
    • *Oversized/overweight parcels (tolex, speakers, etc), dangerous goods, multi-parcel orders, and orders to remote destinations may not be free, but will be heavily discounted.
  • For orders under $149, you can choose from the following shipping options (see average transit times below):
    • Canada Post (Expedited Parcel) - The most economical parcel shipping option available to us.  Includes tracking and insurance.
    • Canada Post (Xpresspost) - Cuts the standard delivery time in half.  Includes tracking and insurance.
    • Purolator Ground - Roughly the same speeds as Expedited Parcel.  Includes tracking and insurance.
    • Purolator Express - Roughly the same speeds as Xpresspost.  Includes tracking and insurance.
  • You will be "carded" if no one is home to receive the delivery.  We do not allow deliveries to be dropped off when no one is home, even if requested.  This is to ensure shipping insurance remains valid and guarantees secure delivery.
  • Average transit times for Expedited/Ground shipments (cut these in half if shipping via Xpresspost/Express):
    • British Columbia (4-6 business days)
    • Alberta (3-6 business days)
    • Saskatchewan (3-5 business days)
    • Manitoba (2-5 business days)
    • Ontario & Quebec (1-4 business days)
    • New Brunswick (2-5 business days)
    • Nova Scotia & PEI (3-5 business days)
    • Newfoundland (4-6 business days)
    • Territories (4-10 business days)

Shipping - U.S.A.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Customers may be responsible for brokerage fees, taxes, and other import fees on receipt of their order.  See your carrier/government import standards for details.
  • All orders are shipped as parcels.  We cannot place products in envelopes and ship them as regular mail.  Shipping fees are calculated by the carrier and are are based on destination, package size, and weight.  We always recommend planning your orders accordingly to get the best value out of the shipping cost.
  • FREE shipping for orders over $299 (*some restrictions apply)
    • All shipping methods reduced/discounted.  Choose the method that works best for you.
    • *Oversized/overweight parcels, multi-parcel orders, and orders to remote destinations may not be free, but will be heavily discounted.
  • For orders under $299, you can choose from the following shipping options (see average transit times below):
    • Canada Post (Tracked Packet USA) - Small parcels only, includes tracking and insurance.  ETA 6-10 business days.
    • Canada Post (Expedited Parcel USA) - Includes tracking and insurance.  ETA 5-8 business days.
    • Canada Post (Xpresspost USA) - Includes tracking and insurance.  ETA 2-4 business days.
  • All orders will require a signature upon receipt (whenever possible).

Shipping - International
