IMPORTANT REFERENCE - Stranded Wire Types
Tinned Stranded = Copper conductors that have been coated with tin, and then the tinned strands are twisted together. The strands are NOT bonded together. This is the most commonly used wire in our industry.
A select minority of parts suppliers sell stranded wire that has been fully bonded/coated along its entire length and only label it as "tinned" or "pre-tinned" wire. That is NOT the correct title for that type of wire. If that's what you're looking for, you need to search for "topcoat" wire.
Topcoat = Stranded bare copper wire that has been run through a tin bath, effectively permeating/coating the entire length of the stranded wire. The result is a stranded wire that acts/feels like solid core wire because the strands have been bonded along the entire length of the wire. This was previously less common in our industry, only being used by select manufacturers (Hi-Watt being the most notable). But, it has been growing in popularity in recent years, especially among the guitar wiring crowd.

Excellent product
It took me a little to figure out how to work with it, but came to love it. It doesn't break the bank, and gives you that warm feeling you did the right thing in recabling that output jack...Thank you NextGen!

Great Stuff
First time I've worked with this stuff and once I got the hang of it, it's excellent.

Good quality, and makes wiring jobs more pleasant
I dig this stuff — handles heat well (great when you want to solder the shield braid into a big puddle on the back of a pot without melting through the inner insulation...which you can't, since it's fabric), and provides some clean wiring options (eg. running a single wire out to the jack, from the switch, etc.). Using the pushback wire in general is pretty satisfying — it's nice to not need to carefully strip a bunch of fine-gauge wiring connections, and I find working with the pushback wire quick and efficient.
