LIL texas speaker
Have put lil-texas speakers in fender 65 reissue deluxe ..sounds great and gives lots more head room , so clean sound at higher volume In peavey bandit transtube sounds great plus makes both amps a little lighter which was why I tried this speaker. Love both amps now

Good sound, light weight, would buy again
I bought this to get an American voiced speaker into my Traynor YGM-3 RI and cut the weight. I took 4 lbs out of the amp to just under 45lbs. The speaker was pretty brittle at first but a 3 hr band jam and volume 5-7 (wear your earplugs!) it sounds really nice now. Not as nice as my Weber California (in my view) but very musical. And the weight savings is significant.

great speaker
125 watts, 101 DB sensitivity and only 4 lbs, what's not to like? Sounds great too

Great sound without the weight
I've put four Lil' Texas in a 412 cabinet, to reduce the weight from 2 Governors and 2 G12H. These new speakers sound great right out of the box. Very light, yet powerful. The bass is strong, the mids are just right for my taste and the mids are present without sounding shrill. I would buy them again. With that sound, you won't catch me lugging a 100 lbs cab anymore.
