Celestion VT-Junior - 50W 8ohm
Oh boy! This was a gamble that paid off huge! I bought this speaker having never heard one before and with a bit of a prejudice against it's big brother the 12" V-Type, but the reviews and descriptions of it's tone made me willing to take the leap on it and I could not be happier. Bought this as the final piece in a little 20 watt Marshall combo I've been tweaking to taste. Straight out of the box my first impressions: -highs are glassy and crisp without any harshness -mids are very stiff and choked sounding -bass is nice and tight with lots of authority and no boominess After a couple weeks of break in: -highs are glassy and crisp without any harshness -mids are still a bit stiff, but have opened up enough that it doesn't sound so choked anymore. I imagine this will only continue improve with more use. -bass is nice and tight with lots of authority and defintion, no boominess It is a really great speaker and has made me reconsider my negative feelings towards the V-Type, perhaps the one I was playing through wasn't broken in yet. Tone-wise I feel it falls somewhere between a Greenback and a T-75. Really compliments a small Marshall combo nicely.

Great sounding 10 '' speaker, I put it in a champ clone running one 6L6 and a diode rectifier and it sounds nice and later breakup with the 50 watt rating, thanks nex gen.
