Top Quality, tricky to use
Very nice quality push/pull pots. Audio taper is perfect for guitar volume knobs. Being mostly plastic you practically need to convert the guitar to having a ground lug, you simply can't solder onto the backs of these as you do traditional pots (it's a plastic bottom). I got lucky and used the sides, but you run the risk of overheating the pot if your not using a powerful soldering iron. The switching system is also a little different that the traditional DP/DT pots, using these requires diligent planning. That little circuit board is tricky to solder onto unless you have a very small solder tip, and make very sure you have properly planned out the order of your connections, because there is little to no room once a lead is in an adjacent hole. Once installation is over.. they are a pleasure to use, feel rock solid (not something I'd say about the Alphas)
