Excellent for Brownface Deluxe
I recently built a Fender Brownface Deluxe 6G3 clone and bought this speaker hoping it would get me the tone that these amps are famous for. My best reference for this tone is "Just Got Paid" by ZZ Top. I'm not going to say that it nailed it but, it's pretty darn close. Whether turned up full or playing clean this speaker has a very nice, balanced tone. The bass isn't flabby or boomy, the treble is crisp without being shrill and it has the right amount of mids, not scooped or honky. And it isn't really broken in yet, I only have about 8 hours on it as I write this. If I ever need a 12" for Fender amps, as a new build or a replacement, this will be my first choice.

Great replacement speaker
So I have a Traynor amp that for me was too brittle sounding to use with my strat. Guitar sounded great through other amps but not so much with the Traynor. I replaced the stock Greenback with this and its a way better tone. Money well spent
