Speaker
Sounds pretty awesome.in a hot rod deluxe. Sixties sound for sure. Can be jazzy or rocky.

Sweet sounding
Such a sweet sounding speaker. Put it in a 1x12 combo of Fender inspiration (home brew amp, pedal platform type) It's present without being harsh, it fills the low end without being boomy. But it is VERY different from a Celestion type speaker. I built my pedalboard around this amp, and that ended up being based around the Blues Driver as the main drive pedal. When I ran the amp through my Creambacks cab for fun... It sounded so boring and thin. Yet that cab is amazing with a JCM800 type amp. This speaker was designed for a 60s Fender combo, and it just shines in that use.

Great speaker for DRRI
This was the first amp I swapped the speaker out for another. The deluxe reverb comes with a Jensen that sounds great however I wanted to try this eminence as it has rave reviews on the forums in this particular amp, although it is still breaking in it definitely has a more “vintage” sound meaning more raw , you hear the strings more, less forgiving in some ways but in a good way. You hear your fingers slide across the strings, things I have read say it is more touch sensitive and I have definitely confirmed that in my opinion. I would say the stock speaker sounds just as good this is just different and I really like it equally with distortion/overdrive and it’s clean tones. I mostly play bedroom volumes or just above and I would say it’s a worthy upgrade for the price ! Just my opinion

Great speaker
I stuck this speaker in a build I completed, and am wowed! This speaker is quite loud, but very clear and articulate without being harsh. The low end is a bit subdued at lower volumes, but I think that helps the speaker stay clear as you turn it up. The amps natural overdrive also sounds amazing through this speaker, very smooth.

Excellent for Brownface Deluxe
I recently built a Fender Brownface Deluxe 6G3 clone and bought this speaker hoping it would get me the tone that these amps are famous for. My best reference for this tone is "Just Got Paid" by ZZ Top. I'm not going to say that it nailed it but, it's pretty darn close. Whether turned up full or playing clean this speaker has a very nice, balanced tone. The bass isn't flabby or boomy, the treble is crisp without being shrill and it has the right amount of mids, not scooped or honky. And it isn't really broken in yet, I only have about 8 hours on it as I write this. If I ever need a 12" for Fender amps, as a new build or a replacement, this will be my first choice.

Great replacement speaker
So I have a Traynor amp that for me was too brittle sounding to use with my strat. Guitar sounded great through other amps but not so much with the Traynor. I replaced the stock Greenback with this and its a way better tone. Money well spent
