Gotoh's highly regarded GE1996T licensed Floyd Rose style tremolo bridge is everything you want from a fully floating bridge. The patented stud locks make it feel more solid and eliminates unexpected height changes after setup. It also features hardened steel saddles, hardened steel pivot edge, and a 33mm or 40mm brass sustain block.
Includes all required mounting hardware: springs, trem claw, mounting studs, and tremolo arm.

Gotoh GE1996T Upgrade on a Jackson RRX24
I recently replaced the stock Floyd Rose Special on my Jackson RRX24 with a Gotoh GE1996T, and honestly, I was not expecting such a dramatic improvement. The first thing I noticed was the tone. The guitar sounds more resonant, clearer, and somehow more solid overall. The difference was immediately noticeable, especially on sustained notes and chords. I expected some improvement, but not to this extent. The second big improvement is tuning stability. The Floyd Rose Special was decent, but the Gotoh takes it to another level. Dive bombs, pull-ups, and aggressive tremolo use all return to pitch much more consistently. The guitar simply feels more reliable and responsive. As for the installation, it was fairly straightforward. The Gotoh fits most Floyd Rose-style setups without too much trouble. However, on my RRX24, the tremolo cavity wasn't quite large enough, so I had to do a small amount of routing/modification to give the bridge enough clearance. Once that was done, everything fitted perfectly. Overall, this is one of the best upgrades I've made to a guitar. If you're considering replacing a Floyd Rose Special, I can highly recommend the Gotoh GE1996T. The improvements in both sound quality and tuning stability exceeded my expectations, and it made my Jackson feel like a much higher-end instrument.

Gotoh GE1996T Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo
Amazing tremolo system. I replaced a Floyd Rose Special on my Jackson SDX Adrian Smith. Easy drop-in replacement. The only complicated change is the Gotoh posts, which don't fit the holes routed for the Floyd Rose posts. However, the Gotoh bridge works with the Floyd posts, so I'm playing it with those for now. Great quality and a huge upgrade over the FR Special
