The HB-Classic α (alpha) is a vintage-style humbucker pickup. This bridge pickup uses a made in USA Alnico 2 bar magnet for a smooth vintage tone. This pickup is wax-potted for sonic stability and uses a shielded 4-conductor wire for various wiring options. Mounting screws and springs are included.

Gotcha humbucker classic A bridge.
I purchased a zebra version of this pickup. The tone is warm, full, and has good note definition depending on how close you place it to the strings. It works great in an HSS set up with the Gotoh strat pickups with no phase issues with the RWRP middle pickup. Awesome quack tones in position 2 and decent split tone as well. I would give it a 5 if it weren't for the bobbins not being level to one another with the adjustable coil coming up closer to the strings at a 5 degree offset to the slug coil. This of course is a defect and not a common thing to expect, however check for this before installing in your guitar. I returned the pickup and the folks at Nextgen were top notch in their service as always. I am tempted to get one again, even if it's just black bobbins. All in all a great pickup for the money.
