Hammond 1444-22 - Aluminum Chassis 12x8x2

Well packaged and vinyl protective film makes this ship well and also allows working with it without having to worry about scratching the surface which, being aluminum is relatively easy. I planned on some strong weight support from this and the welds holding the corners broke with relatively little stress (approx 20lbs) which was disappointing but as it is aluminum it was also easy to weld back but just be sure you aren’t looking for large stress on this as the material isn’t as strong as steel or a cast item but for the price you can’t beat it.
