excellent upgrade for better sound....
I installed this HM 1760-H 20 watt Output transformer in a point to point wired Gretsch Playboy, which is a Victoria-made version of a Fender Pro Junior with 2 EL84's, 15 watts. The sound just blooms with this in it....it doesn't make it a 20 watt amp, but it tightens up the bass and adds fullness and clarity. A solid, well made transformer, and I'm very happy with the result.

Excellent OT for Deluxe-style amps
The Hammond 1760H is a good, modest-priced transformer for replacements or builds in brownface or blackface Deluxes. Having the 4/8/16-ohm taps on the secondaries is useful if you want to include an impedence selector switch, trying different speakers, or plan on running the amp with extension cabs.
