IMPORTANT REFERENCE - Stranded Wire Types
Tinned, Stranded = Copper conductors that have been coated with tin, and then the tinned strands are twisted together. The strands are NOT bonded together. This is the most commonly used wire in our industry.
A select minority of parts suppliers sell stranded wire that has been fully bonded/coated along its entire length and only label it as "tinned" or "pre-tinned" wire. That is NOT the correct title for that type of wire. If that's what you're looking for, you need to search for "topcoat" wire.
Topcoat = Stranded bare copper wire that has been run through a tin bath, effectively permeating/coating the entire length of the stranded wire. The result is a stranded wire that acts/feels like solid core wire because the strands have been bonded along the entire length of the wire. This was previously less common in our industry, only being used by select manufacturers (Hi-Watt being the most notable). But, it has been growing in popularity in recent years, especially among the guitar wiring crowd.

Used to add an external speaker jack mod on my Boss Katana Mini. Good quality and worked well without issues.
Marine-grade wire. I'll be back with more orders in the future. Give NextGen a chance if you haven't already!
Trying to find quality wire has been a challenge. Not any more. Great quality and price. Replaced the wiring in my lap steel. The original wire literally fell off as I removed the pots and jack from the guitar. It was much smaller in diameter with alot less strands. Definitely an upgrade.
I want to do a bit of overhaul work on my vintage tube communication receiver Marconi CR100. After reading comments from Ryan and Boyle, I hope to buy these wires. Appreciate if some one can tell me how many strands you have in this wire. It would have been much better if it was given in description of wires
Exactly as it's supposed to be at a great price, with fast friendly service.
Due to the name I expect a little more action the first night. But once everything was worked out this wire was great to work with. Really affordable in my opinion, solders super easily, handles the amps power with out issue and doesn’t unravel on you.
Simple everyday product, but it’s a quality wire. I’ll reorder when the time comes without hesitation.
