Humbucker Mounting Ring - Flat/Slanted Extra Short - Black

These rings are well made and might be fine if you are building a guitar from scratch, but they will NOT fit the existing mounting holes of most guitars. These rings are longer (by a couple of mm) and wider (fractionally) than stock rings or aftermarket replacements by Dimarzio, EMG, Schaller, WD, etc., etc. I looked at about a dozen US and offshore guitars, and all of them have the 'standard' size. These rings will not fit any of them without filling and redrilling the holes. I would suggest that Next Gen do two things: first, offer a higher-end alternative to these rings that will actually fit (EMG and Dimarzio both make 'em), and second, post a diagram with dimensions so that people can choose the right rings for their guitar.
