The PT2399 echo/delay IC (integrated circuit) on a 16-pin DIP with a minimum of external components required. Delay time set by external resistance.
PLEASE NOTE: Easily susceptible to heat damage. If you must solder directly, always use a heat sink. Ideally, you should use these with sockets.

PTC2399
These appear to be the real deal, "PTC" on the chips and they sound great. I built my first delay circuit around this chip and have no complaints.

quality parts
These work well for me and have low noise. There are some knock-off parts out there, but these appear to be real parts from the Princeton factory. Just hope they get more of them because I'll buy em!
