Pickguard Blank - 1-ply Silver Mirror (11.5" x 17")

The protective plastic film is very loose. Might sound like no big deal but it is dangerous. Twice now, on two separate sheets my router bit picked up the plastic film....just tore the whole sheet of the blank in a millisecond. The router was screaming with a ball of melting plastic stuck to the bit....very scary situation. On the third one I peeled the film off (never seen film so loose on any other blank) first before routing and covered the whole blank with 2 inch wide masking tape. The back side of the blank has a blue backing...the two way carpet tape I used to stick the template to the blank pulled off some of the mirror backing rendering it see through in spots. Not a nice product. Not blaming Next Gen....these guys have always been great to me.

Great product but more brittle than the regular pick guard material so be careful when cutting. End result was exactly what I wanted. Always fast response and professional service here. Cheers!
