The MOD® Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the MOD®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference.

reverb tank
Something different about this replacement. I can only turn reverb on my Fender Twin Reverb amp to max 2, and it will start to feedback. Seems it's a bit sensitive. NG Response: "Extra noise/squealing/howling/feedback is most commonly due to a mounting issue. The vibrations of the speaker and cabinet are interacting with the tank/springs in an undesirable way. This could be due to mounting it in the wrong type of amp (tank codes have the mounting type as part of it, which some people seem to ignore). If not, it could simply be a matter of adding a tank bag, changing the tank position, damping the mounting contact points, and/or making sure all connects/cables are very tight fits. If one of those doesn't resolve the issue, it may not be the tank."

Mod Reverb Tank
Installed two of these recently. One in a 100W Twin Reverb repair, and the other in a new Fender Deluxe Reverb clone. Awesome tanks for the money paid, and an exact duplicate for the Fender products.
