The MOD® Reverb Tanks are high quality upgrade units. Some of the major differences between the MOD®s and other reverb tanks are that the Transducers are wired directly to their respective RCA jacks as opposed to current production tanks where Transducers are connected by a detachable plug to their respective RCA jacks. This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference. The original Hammond Accutronics tanks from the 1960s were also wired directly to their respective RCA jacks. In addition, very close attention has been paid to the spacing and size of the lamination of the Transducers resulting in a more vintage like tone.

Mod Tank replacement
The Peavey Silver Stripe Studio Pro 112 is nice solid state combo. But I was very curious about switch the 8" tank to a long spring version. This opened up the amps character and met my subjective taste how this amp should've sounded from the factory. Next Gen is our best resource in Canada for whacky ideas like this.

Great Fender spring reverb
Installed this tank in my Fender hot rod deluxe after the original one failed. I was not thinking about nothing more than repairing my amp. I was blown away at how much tone, depth and decay this tank has. If I would have known I would have made the swap while the old tank was still functioning.

MOD REVERB TANK
Yes, this reverb tank was ordered for a replacement for an older Peavey xr600c Mixer amp and fit perfectly and works as it should. Even the mounting holes were exact. Thanks and cheers.
