This makes the tanks less receptive to any outside interference.

Easy and fast replacement
I replaced the original, defective reverb tank from my Traynor YCV-40 with this one. (Remember to remove both foam pieces placed during shipment or you won't get any reverb !!!).

Great Reverb tank
Replaced the failed reverb tank in my Sister in laws traynor amplifier, this MOD unit sounds amazing, it’s a lot more sensitive than the stock tank was, where she would usually play at a 5-7 level on the dial, Is now achievable at a 3-5 level. Gives lots of room for a gratuitous amount of reverb if you wanted it.

Good tank
While I didn't 'need' to replace the reverb tank in the amp I was returning and re-capping, I thought ' what the heck'. Turned out to be a great replacement for the tank in my Peavey DB 210.
