Product Description
Grade 5 AlNiCo (Aluminum/Nickel/Cobalt) rod magnets with bevelled edges for making pickups. A5 has been the most commonly used rod magnet since the mid-1950's, used on bass and guitar pickups of all types and for all styles of instruments.
While having no impact on tone, there is clearly an aesthetic difference between flat and bevelled edges. Bevelled edges are also much easier to press into flatwork.
Available in the following sizes:
*Diameter: 0.195"
Height: 0.630", 0.650", 0.671", 0.688", and 0.710"
NOT magnetized, so you'll need to charge them.
Note: Some may have a small magnetic charge due to our quality control procedures.

*PLEASE NOTE: The flatwork we carry is made for 0.195" diameter magnets. If you're buying magnets to use with our flatwork, make sure you choose ones with a 0.195" diameter.
