The PG-8000-00 is a set of six String Saver Classics for a Strat or Tele style guitar with a 2 1/16" string spacing in a stainless steel finish. They have a small String Saver insert in the saddle to dramatically reduce string breakage and improve tuning stability.
Included with the set is an extra set of slightly longer intonation screws to be used with a Telecaster.
String Saver Original saddles are made with a unique combination of materials made to enhance tone and dramatically reduce string breakage. Each saddle is impregnated with PTFE, the slipperiest substance on earth. The PTFE in String Savers eases the grip between the saddle and string, spreading the stress over a greater portion of the string, just enough to drastically reduce string breakage.

String Saver Saddles
Used these to replace a set on a 1978 Fender Starcaster. They had some wear and the chrome was pitted and the strings would slip out of tune. The new saddles fit perfectly and now the guitar stays in tune.
