Tech's notes: "Alpha pots provide the best value for your dollar in a guitar pot. We had these custom manufactured to a slightly lower torque. The result is a quick but smooth turning feel. Not as tight as a CTS pot, but not as loose as a Bourns pot. These provide what we feel is a good medium between the two. We also had them made to a taper that we feel is better suited to guitar use than the standard audio taper used by CTS and Bourns."

nice taper on the A500k with an accurate feel that is tight and still fast i like these better than bourns in my strats
