Product Description
Alpha was generous enough to build these custom pots to our specs. We opted for brass shafts and bushings for longer life, tighter tolerances than most mainstream pots, and a custom audio taper that gives a smoother sweep than standard audio tapers. They are also manufactured to a slightly lower torque. The result is a quick but smooth turning feel. Not as tight as a CTS pot, but not as loose as a Bourns pot. These provide what we feel is a good medium between the two.

Great Value!!
These are nice quality pots at a good price with noise free operation. I’ve used more expensive brands and there’s no sonic difference between them and the Alpha Pro.

Alpha pot
Very feel to these pots. I do a lot of swells right on the guitar and these pots are predictable with a solid feel on the sweep

Most Useable Taper!
The taper of these is so much more usable than any CTS pot I've ever had. I upgraded my LP's with these and 50's wiring, and they are perfect. So, why 4 stars instead of 5? First, they are Alpha. I don't know if that's a bad thing, but I only ever see people bashing Alpha stuff online all the time. Maybe these are better, I don't know. The second reason? I'm just discovering these now, and they are discontinued!??! Why!!?!! Bring them back!! I want to keep buying them for my guitars!

Alpha Pro Pots
I struggled with various CTS/Gibson pots in my Les Paul - the Alphas are a definite improvement in taper.

Great feel and very consistent
I've used a mix of the 250k and 500k pots on a few projects now and they've been great quality every time. Time will tell about durability but I prefer them over CTS or Bourns pots for feel and taper. Miles better than the run of the mill alpha pots.
