Tech's notes: "Vintage amps refer to this as purple, but it doesn't always appear purple. The final colour is influenced heavily by the colour temperature of the bulb underneath it. The more cold the bulb, the more 'blue' it looks. The more warm the bulb, the more 'purple' it looks."
