Product Description
DeoxIT® D-Series contact/connector treatment, dissolves oxides and sulfides that form on metal surfaces. This restores the contact’s integrity and leaves a thin microscopic layer that protects the metal. Special additives improve conductivity and prevent dissolved oxides from re-attaching, keeping them in suspension and allowing them to be easily dispersed by the mechanical action of the contact.

Which DeoxIT Should I Use?
- D5 = Maximal cleaning, minimal lubrication/protection.
- F5 = Maximal lubrication/protection, minimal cleaning.
- G5 = For ultimate enhancement and protection of metal contact surfaces.
The gold standard for revitalizing jacks, lever/stomp switches, sockets, and other parts that do not require movement while carrying a signal is to use D5 first for maximal cleaning, followed by G5 for improved connectivity and lasting protection.
The gold standard for pots, faders, sliding switches, and other parts that DO require movement while carrying a signal is to use D5 first for maximal cleaning, followed by F5 for smooth operation and lasting protection.
Tech's notes: "Don't overspray! This stuff lasts a VERY long time if you use it correctly. Very short bursts for each application is all that is needed. Follow the instructions on the can to ensure maximum effectiveness."
