Product Description
Carbon fiber exhibits so many of the qualities useful in fine instrument construction — namely, low weight, stiffness, stability, resistance to fatigue and creep. Its low weight and high stiffness makes it three times stiffer than steel on a weight-to-weight basis, 80% as stiff on a cross-sectional area comparison – offers many advantages to the guitar builder.
Neck reinforcement can be laminated in such a manner that the reinforcement continues through the peghead joint, reducing flex and therefore reducing energy loss to the head area.
Dimensions: 1/8" x 3/8" x 24" (3.17mm x 9.5mm x 610mm)
Generally used on electric guitars, banjos, and other mid-neck length instruments.

Carbon Fibre rods 1/8 x 3/8 x 24
For the guitars I build 2 14" carbon fibre rod are best. If they are 28" I could cut them in half. As it is, I have to waste almost half of the product.
