Built from Celestion’s original blueprints of the era, the Heritage Series G12M (55) faithfully reproduces the 1970s, cranked-to-11 guitar loudspeaker tone of the original, beloved T1511 Blackback, the most celebrated variation of Celestion's Greenback speaker. With a lineage that can be traced back to Free's Paul Kossoff and Hendrix, this speaker is favored among many vintage tone connoisseurs for its 55Hz resonant frequency bass cone. This choice of bass cone emits a warmer, full-bodied tone compared to the Pulsonic cones of the Greenbacks, with plenty of punch to your high-powered amp. Its classic 25-watt power rating breaks up exactly how you would expect a vintage speaker to react — with rich overdrive and singing sustain.
