NOT a drop-in replacement for MIM or MIA teles. You will have to drill new screw holes, and expand the pickguard cutout in order to make it fit.
Tech's notes: "Saying things like METRIC/IMPORT vs US/IMPERIAL is not particularly helpful. There are so many little variations on parts like these that you can never be too sure what they will fit. Always double check the measurements of your needs against those provided in the dimensional drawing to be sure it will work for you."

Does not Fit
This product is of excellent quality and finish but unfortunately totally useless because it is not standard width (too wide) and dos not fit standard telecaster pick guards! So buyer beware! good quality but a little bigger than the Fender plate

Doesn't drop in, but a good product regardless
This control plate is solid, as you'd expect. It's nicely plated and looks great. However, it does not drop right on on a fender pickguard. Some modifications had to be made to the tele guard I had. That took two seconds on a spindle sander, so no big, but it was unfortunate. One upside to the wider control plate, it allows a wider cavity. Which if you have ever tried more complicated wiring on a tele, more is definitely more.
