Eminence 820H
Wow! Brought new life to my Vibro Champ XD. Previously used the little amp with a 12” cab but that seemed to defeat the purpose of having small amp for portability and low volume at smaller gigs. This speaker was cleaner louder than the Fender stock speaker and I wasn’t missing the 12” cab as much as I thought. Good low end for and 8” driver and beautiful Fender break up tones when I cranked the amp—no farty sounds like other economy 8” drivers have. No regrets: efficient ordering and shipping. Ordered driver on Wednesday —gigged with it Friday night.

Big and Fat sound
I I put this in my 79 Vibro Champ and it has a big warm tone. and loud compared to the CR 8 Jensen that was in there before Iot has a very jazzy flavor with my holly body but mostly I use it to play Harp and it growls with tone lots of bottom end. I would red this recommend this speaker for any harp player wanting that vintage sound . Love it

Gave new life to my 1965 Fender Champ
This 8" replacement speaker fit in the amp no problem. Still breaking the speaker in -the sound gets better and "opens up" by the hour. I'd say it's better than the original speaker: no farting out, however the breakup comes earlier than with the original alnico speaker. Smooth & "dark" & thick, with no shrill frequencies jumping out at you. It almost does sound as if I put a 10" speaker in the champ. I like it!
