Gotoh BB-04W - 18V Battery Box (screw-in)

Strangely the depth below the face (minimum cavity depth) isn't specified in the drawings but measures just a hair over 33 mm. One nice feature is that the terminals won't contact, and the compartment won't close, if the battery is installed with the wrong polarity. This prevents reverse voltage to the preamp.

The product is what it is. It works rather well and once I learned how it actually works it worked better than expected. The quality is there, the leads are long and it closes nice and snug. The measurements for the cutout are spot on as well. Another quality product from Gotoh
