Gotoh's highly regarded GE1996T licensed Floyd Rose style tremolo bridge is everything you want from a fully floating bridge. The patented stud locks make it feel more solid and eliminates unexpected height changes after setup. It also features hardened steel saddles, hardened steel pivot edge, and a 33mm or 40mm brass sustain block.
Includes all required mounting hardware: springs, trem claw, mounting studs, and tremolo arm.

Quality
The Gotoh 1996 is a finely designed and manufactured version of the mighty Floyd Rose bridge. The arm mounting design is perfect and provides zero slack or clunk at any tension setting. Tuning stability is as good as they come.

Great replacement for FR
Great high quality replacement for my Jackson FR Special. It's 95% drop in. You may have to carve out a little in the cavity to allow the tremolo to reach maximum range when pulled. Otherwise very stable, and the build is of quality.

Great Upgrade
I decided to replace my FR Special in my Jackson X series Warrior and Pro Soloist. The whole thing just drops in. I re used the original stud posts and so far it's doing great! These Gotohs are way better than the FR Special!

Great bridge!
I bought this to replace a Sterling Floyd Rose Pro style bridge. I wanted to put a quality bridge on my JP160. This bridge did not disappoint. It's solid and smooth. I like the design with the fine tuners angled back. I would definitely recommend this as a replacement for a cheaper bridge, like the Special series Floyds or licensed bridges.
