Simply pull the string through the hole and tighten the thumbwheel. A small pin inside the string post will grip your string and lock it in place. Spend more time playing and less time playing out of tune!

Excellent replacement tuners
The product itself is excellent: a quality locking tuner to replace the cheap ones that came with a guitar kit. However, what's also great is the service. I have a 7-string so I needed a set of 7, and I thought it would require a special order. Not only was NextGen super quick and responsive about placing a special order (that would have taken months in COVID-time), but they also gave me the option to fill my order with a tiny deviation using what they already had in stock. I took their advice and got a set of 6 and a single tuner - and I am super pleased.
