Stagger post locking tuners
These are working great as locking tuners. However, the original reason I wanted to use these tuners was for the staggered post feature, eliminating the need for a string tree. And in my use, it doesn't work. I'm using these tuners on a Jazzmaster with standard Fender specs, and found that the string tree is still absolutely needed. So these work great as locking tuners, but are completely useless for eliminating the string tree.

Excellent replacement tuners
The product itself is excellent: quality locking tuners to replace the cheap ones that came with a guitar kit. However, what's also great is the service. I have a 7-string so I needed a set of 7, and I thought it would require a special order. Not only was NextGen super quick and responsive about placing a special order (that would have taken months in COVID-time), but they also gave me the option to fill my order with a tiny deviation using what they already had in stock. I took their advice and got this set and a single tuner - and I am super pleased.
