2" Cotton Strap /w Leather Ends - Tweed

This strap is only a couple of $$ less than the basic Fender tweed strap, so it’s not a hugely good deal. It looks nice, but the material is quite thin and flimsy. The material is soft and comfortable, but it really doesn’t feel very strong. The leather ends are acceptable, but the stitching seems kinda wimpy. Compared to the basic Fender tweed strap, I give this one 3 stars. I’ve purchased a Fender tweed strap from Amazon - it’s much better. The Fender strap is more substantial - thicker and sturdier. The Fender strap was $19.79 I ordered this strap at the same time I ordeted some CTS pots, and other doodads. The boys forgot to put the strap n the box. I called them the day my order (speedily) arrived and explained that the strap wasn’t packed in with the other items. In just a few days, my strap was delivered in the post. NextGen’s customer service and speedy shipping is second to none! Thanx so much, guys. :) The service is great, but the strap is just, meh - in my opinion.

I tossed this in my cart on a whim while buying some assorted innards. I'd say it's the best strap I own, although I do have one of those (also made in Canada?) Levi's leather straps for my acoustic that's nice too. As a bedroom player and tinkerer, I don't have a lot of stuff for playing out and about. Can't really comment on its durability, but the quality and feel are certainly there. The slit where the strap buttons are inserted is nice and snug, and I really had to work the leather to pop it onto one of my guitars. YMMV depending on the size / type of strap buttons you have.

Beautiful to go with Tweed fabriced amp

Very soft and comfortable with a relatively heavy ash tele. Matches the Fender tweed case. Works well with the F locking strap buttons.

Excellent tweed strap, good to have the NG logo on it.
