Fun notes: "CIOKS is rooted in a danish word Tjåks. There isn't really an equivalent pronunciation in English. It's somewhere in between 'checks' and 'chucks' (like Chuck Norris). Something like 'chiucks', if that were a word. They recommend people just say 'Chucks", probably because we English speakers generally kinda suck at pronouncing non-English words. However, most people in North America pronounce it CHOCKS. ;)"

Best investment in my rig in years
For such a small footprint, the amount of pedals you can power is simply awesome! I had to revamp my rig to accommodate a few new devices and a simple daisy chain wasn't going to cut it. The CIOKS SOL has 5 isolated outputs, each with 660 milliamps of power. I was able to combine two of those outputs to power the ToneKing Imperial tube preamp pedal, one powers the TC Electronic Plethora X3, the third powers a Line6 wireless AND a Fender Switchboard pedalboard controller. That left one that powers a tuner, buffer, wah, boost, fuzz, overdrive, tube screamer, phaser, compressor, and reverb. One of the best features is the fact that the outputs on the SOL are standard RCA connectors... I bought a bunch of barrel jack molded cables and cut them to length and just soldered them into regular RCA connectors. I was even able to use a simple RCA splitter box to power all the pedals that were connected to the one output so there was no cable to hide after it was connected. And the whole power supply fits neatly under the pedalboard leaving more room for pedals on top and making the pedalboard so much smaller on the floor. 100% recommend!

Great for small but powerful pedalboards
The perfect size and love dip switches to adjust the power. Got a current doubler flex cable for Line 6 HX Effects (works for stomp as well) and love the flexibility.

Coiks Sol
Probably the best power supply out there Reason for 4 stars- could use more current for each outlet so you don’t have to combine 2 to get the juice you need for power hungry devices.

Nice solid unit.
I haven't used it yet but it is a lot heavier than expected and has a beautiful fit and finish. Sort of a shame to hide it under a pedal board. Specs seem good too for lots of different configurations.
