Good speaker for Fender-type applications
Like a Hyundai automobile, an Eminence Legend is affordable, decently made, and does what it was designed to do -- minus the sexiness of more expensive or trendy models or brands. I use the Legend in Fender repairs or restorations where the goal is something reliable and inexpensive that can be trusted to work and sound fine. Next Gen service is always prompt and professional.

Vintage clean upgrade replacement speaker
I recently replaced the 10" stock speakers in a few of my Fender amps with the Eminence Legend 1058 and it is true to the description/specs provided on the Next Gen website. There is a noticeable increase in tone quality (sparkle, definition, touch sensitive, fatter/tighter low end) that was lacking in the stock speakers. This speaker responds very well to tone adjustment when using the guitar or amp controls. Putting this higher power rated speaker in a 12 - 25 watt amp is a very pleasing upgrade for my vintage clean player ears and perfect for enhancing the Fender clean sound. Much thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful Next Gen staff.
