Great speaker
Let's get this out of the way: amazing service, price and shipping from Nexgen. The speaker now: I bought this one to pair with a well-worn governor in a diagonal 2x12 cab. It does sound great by itself, but the pairing is even better. While 2 GOVs sound great, they can be heavy on the mids. The Wizard fills the bass and highs a bit more while averaging the whole mid-range somewhat. It's no surprise Eminence recommends this combination, it flat-out rocks. I play heavier styles while requiring good cleans. This combination sounds amazing with both my 2203 Marshall Clone and my Mesa Dual-Rectifier. Not your average V30 tone but that's not a bad thing either.

Very comparable to a G12H Better price and made in America as opposed to China! These and the Private Jack are all I feature in my plexi type amps
