When buying new tuners, you’re often stuck with the buttons that come fitted on them. Not anymore! We offer the most button options of any manufacturer and they’re interchangeable with all Hipshot guitar tuners (even Xtenders!). It’s another reason to choose us for your next build or replacement machines.

Buttons are designed to fit Hipshot tuning machines. Compatibility with machines from other brands is coincidental and not warranted.
For your reference, they are designed for tuners that have a shaft measuring 3.4mm (flat sides) x 3.9mm (rounded sides). That said, even if the buttons do fit nicely on another brand's tuners, there's no guarantee the screws will be the right thread for non-Hipshot branded tuners.

Excellent finish & quality
I purchased these to replace the knobs on a 12 string with Next Gen sealed tuners. The knobs *fit* and *worked* but there was obvious slop when changing direction. As the details say in the product description these are made to fit Hipshot tuners only.

Hipshot Butter Bean Tuner Button
Fantastic quality, fits perfectly on the Fender (Ping) Locking tuners to change the aesthetics to a less clunky and more classic appearance on my Telecaster that I find more pleasing. Chrome is beautiful and consistent and fits tight with no modifications required--looks as if they were meant to be on these tuners.
