Pickup doesn’t fit
I bought this for my Mandola. The body is significantly deeper. The clamping mechanism is too short by 10mm I reached out to manufacturers to find out what sized thread this thing has. They told me ‘standard’ . Wtf? I did some More research and found it is either 6-40 or 5-40 thread size. Sourced and Ordered a 6-40 m/f coupling. Doesn’t fit. I’m looking for 5-40 now. Good times NG Response: "This pickup is made for a Mandolin, not a Mandola. They are different instruments. You'd need to order a generic pickup, like the UP-1 or UP-2. As for the thread, it is likely metric since it is not made in the US or by a US company. That could be why you're struggling to find the correct thread. If undamaged and still in all original (undamaged) packaging, you may still return it. Reach out to customer service to set that up."
