Manufactured for extreme precision: Snaps cleanly into all switch positions.
Includes a black switch knob and mounting screws.
Tech's notes: "Great switches! However, please note, switch tips made for US-made switches will NOT fit on these switches. Neither will most import tips. Schaller makes their own switch tips and you'll likely be best going with those if you want something other than black."

Test the switch before you solder
I may just have got a bad one, but one switch position seems to have unreliable contact (will work most of the time, but not all of the time). Usually it will end up working after I wiggle the switch up and down (i.e., at a right angle to the plane of the switch and pcb), but this is not ideal and not what I expected. Initially I thought this was an issue with my soldering, but after checking my connections and also thinking about the wiring scheme this _has_ to be the switch itself; the position causing problems is a series wiring of two tele pickups, and the same two pickups work fine in parallel or by themselves. I disassembled the switch and used contact cleaner, but no dice. Moral of story: Check the switch with a multimeter before you do any soldering. NG Response: "Sounds like you may have received a defective switch. Reach out to customer service to arrange a replacement."

Schaller 3 way pickup switch
Take care in the install as the instructions are in partially in German but Google translate can sort you out. My guitar just sounds better with this switch installed and the feel of the switch is perfectly smooth.

Megaswitch type M - impressive
At first I was worried that the soldering tin would go everywhere, as there were no holes to hold it, but it stayed perfectly in the conductive square. the switching is very fluid and the switch itself very sturdy as expected.

Shaller MegaSwitch Type M
Very good quality, but the M switch is challenging to solder
