Shorter straight option for pedal boards when a right angle plug will not fit
This is a good space saving choice for pedal board connections when the Jack's are not spaced enough for right angle plugs. It is easy to solder up, and is a quality component. Only drawback is that it does not have any strain relief, which can be remedied with some heat shrink if the connection is going to be plugged in and out frequently.
