IMPORTANT REFERENCE - Stranded Wire Types
Tinned, Stranded = Copper conductors that have been coated with tin, and then the tinned strands are twisted together. The strands are NOT bonded together. This is the most commonly used wire in our industry.
A select minority of parts suppliers sell stranded wire that has been fully bonded/coated along its entire length and only label it as "tinned" or "pre-tinned" wire. That is NOT the correct title for that type of wire. If that's what you're looking for, you need to search for "topcoat" wire.
Topcoat = Stranded bare copper wire that has been run through a tin bath, effectively permeating/coating the entire length of the stranded wire. The result is a stranded wire that acts/feels like solid core wire because the strands have been bonded along the entire length of the wire. This was previously less common in our industry, only being used by select manufacturers (Hi-Watt being the most notable). But, it has been growing in popularity in recent years, especially among the guitar wiring crowd.

Wire
I’m sure this wire would work great for an application requiring 22AWG wire. I was going to use this wire for an auxiliary jack project but I ended up going with 16AWG for the auxiliary jack mod for my Boss Katana Mini.

Marine-grade wire. I'll be back with more orders in the future. Give NextGen a chance if you haven't already!

Quality and price
Trying to find quality wire has been a challenge. Not any more. Great quality and price. Replaced the wiring in my lap steel. The original wire literally fell off as I removed the pots and jack from the guitar. It was much smaller in diameter with alot less strands. Definitely an upgrade.
