IMPORTANT REFERENCE - Stranded Wire Types
Tinned Stranded = Copper conductors that have been coated with tin, and then the tinned strands are twisted together. The strands are NOT bonded together. This is the most commonly used wire in our industry.
A select minority of parts suppliers sell stranded wire that has been fully bonded/coated along its entire length and only label it as "tinned" or "pre-tinned" wire. That is NOT the correct title for that type of wire. If that's what you're looking for, you need to search for "topcoat" wire.
Topcoat = Stranded bare copper wire that has been run through a tin bath, effectively permeating/coating the entire length of the stranded wire. The result is a stranded wire that acts/feels like solid core wire because the strands have been bonded along the entire length of the wire. This was previously less common in our industry, only being used by select manufacturers (Hi-Watt being the most notable). But, it has been growing in popularity in recent years, especially among the guitar wiring crowd.

Exactly as it's supposed to be at a great price, with fast friendly service.
Due to the name I expect a little more action the first night. But once everything was worked out this wire was great to work with. Really affordable in my opinion, solders super easily, handles the amps power with out issue and doesn’t unravel on you.
Simple everyday product, but it’s a quality wire. I’ll reorder when the time comes without hesitation.
It's hard to say one wire's better than another, but this stuff was cheap, came well measured, and was easy to work with.
Very good wire, strips easy ,easy to bend and shape in tight places and solders fast. Good for most general wiring and repairs.
I needed some low gauge, yellow jacketed wire. Check. I also read the review from that other fellow who admitted it’s hard to get excited about hookup wire, before harping about how good the product is. I thought “Dude, get a life”. And now I need to apologise: OMG this stuff is great. It strips easy, it tins great, it’s in that Goldie locks zone, flexible but also stiff enough so you can shape your bends, ....oh, crap: I need to go out more. With a mask. Seriously: thank you NextGen.
excellent perfect for a Tweed 5E3
Good quality wire and perfect colours for amp wiring.
